Network Security Operations - Associate The Network Security Operations – Associate is responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of network security solutions that protect organizational infrastructure from cyber threats. This entry-level role focuses on assisting senior engineers in deploying and managing security technologies, monitoring network activity, and ensuring compliance with security standards. Experience (Preferred): 1-2 year of relevant experience in network security or IT infrastructure is desired Certifications (Preferred): CompTIA Security+, Network+, Cisco CCNA, or similar entry-level certifications

Assist in configuring and maintaining firewalls, proxies, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security appliances. Support network monitoring and analysis to detect anomalies and potential threats. Help investigate and resolve security incidents under guidance from senior engineers. Perform basic troubleshooting of network connectivity and security issues. Maintain accurate documentation of network security configurations, policies, and procedures. Assist in audits and ensure adherence to organizational security standards. Collaborate with IT teams to identify opportunities for automation and process optimization. Stay updated on emerging security technologies and best practices Needed Skills Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and OSI model. Strong foundation in network basics for tracing and analyzing traffic flows (e.g., packet capture, routing paths. Familiarity with network security tools (firewalls, proxies, VPN). Solid knowledge of firewall policies and Access Control Lists (ACLs) for securing network traffic. Ability to script or automate tasks using Python, Shell, or similar languages is a plus.
