Delete your data

• In the app: Dashboard → Account Settings → Delete account. Your account is deactivated immediately.
• By email: write to gauravghai@htmlhints.com from your registered email address with the subject “Delete my data”.
• WhatsApp data: email us the phone number you used, from the email address linked to it, and we delete the link, the conversation and the message history.
• We confirm within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days. You do not need an account to make the request.

Sign in, open Dashboard → Account Settings, choose Delete account, tell us why (optional, one line) and confirm. Your account is deactivated at once: you can no longer sign in, your email address is released, and your profile stops being shown anywhere on OneRoadmap.

Deactivation is the first step of deletion, not the last. The personal data behind the account - your resume, onboarding answers, applications, evidence and any WhatsApp history - is erased on the timeline below. If you want written confirmation once that is done, email us after deleting in the app and we will send it.

Email gauravghai@htmlhints.com with the subject “Delete my data”. Send it from the email address on your account so we can verify it is you; if you no longer have access to that address, tell us and we will verify another way (for example, a code sent to the WhatsApp number linked to the account). We never ask for your password.

Say what you want deleted: your whole account, only your WhatsApp data, or specific items (a resume, a project, a connected account). If you do not say, we delete everything described in What is deleted.

If you have messaged OneRoadmap on WhatsApp, we hold: your WhatsApp number (the identifier Meta sends us), the messages you sent and the replies we sent, the conversation's working state (for example the job you last asked about), and - once you passed the link challenge - the link between that number and your OneRoadmap account. We use this only to answer you and to send the alerts you turned on.

To delete it

Email gauravghai@htmlhints.com with the phone number you used, from the email address linked to it (or, if the number was never linked to an account, from any address - we will verify by sending a one-time code to that WhatsApp number). We unlink the number, and delete the conversation and message history, within 30 days.

Sending STOP on WhatsApp only turns off alerts; it does not delete anything, and you can keep asking questions after it.

• Your account and sign-in identity (email, name, password hash, linked Google sign-in).
• Onboarding answers, target roles, experience and work-preference settings.
• Your resume file and anything parsed from it, projects, certifications you added, and imported profile data (LinkedIn, GitHub, The Perfect Resume).
• Talent Graph evidence, readiness scores, Daily Challenge attempts, job simulation submissions and assessment attempts.
• Job matches, saved jobs, and application packages the Apply Agent prepared (tailored resumes, cover letters, answers).
• WhatsApp number link, conversation state and message history.
• Support conversations and marketing preferences.

A few records survive deletion, for reasons the Privacy Policy and Terms set out:

• Certificate verification records. A certificate you earned can already be in someone else's hands. Its verification page stays valid, with your personal data removed - so it shows the credential is genuine, not who you are.
• Invoices and payment records for paid products, for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
• A minimal “deleted” marker (a hashed identifier) so we honour the deletion and do not re-create the account from a later import.
• Encrypted backups, which roll off within 90 days; deleted data is not restored from them.

• We acknowledge every request within 7 days and may ask one question to verify identity.
• Deletion completes within 30 days of verification, and you receive a confirmation email.
• Backups roll off within 90 days after that.
