Terms of Service

Welcome to oneroadmap.io. These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding contract between you and GHAI TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED, an Indian company operating the OneRoadmap™ brand (“OneRoadmap”, “we”, “us”). By accessing or using our websites, products and services (the “Services”) you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Pricing, Payments & Refunds Policy, which are incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

We may update these Terms as the Services evolve. For material changes we will give you reasonable advance notice - by updating this page, email, or an in-app notice. If you keep using the Services after a change takes effect, the updated Terms apply to you. If you don't agree with a change, stop using the Services and, if you wish, delete your account.

• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Services. If you are under 18 and located in India, you may use the Services only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
• You agree to provide accurate, current registration information and keep it up to date. Certificates are issued in your account name - make sure it is your real name.
• Your account is personal. You may not share, sell or transfer it, and you are responsible for activity that happens under it. Keep your sign-in method (Google account or email OTP) secure and tell us immediately about any unauthorized use.
• One person, one account. Duplicate accounts may be removed.

You agree not to:

• violate any law, third-party right, or these Terms while using the Services;
• scrape, crawl, decompile, reverse-engineer or copy the Services or their content except as permitted by law, or access them by automated means without our written permission;
• interfere with the Services' operation - including probing or testing vulnerabilities, bypassing rate limits or access controls, or introducing malware;
• impersonate any person, misrepresent an affiliation, or harass, defame or abuse other users;
• use the Services to build a competing certification database, or resell access to any part of the Services.

• Assessments and simulation tickets must be completed by you, personally, without another person taking or assisting during the timed test.
• You may not share, publish or solicit assessment questions, answers, datasets or answer keys; each simulation dataset is uniquely generated for you, and submitting work derived from someone else's dataset or answers is cheating.
• We use automated integrity signals (for example tab-switch detection, timing analysis and dataset fingerprinting) to detect violations, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• If we determine, acting reasonably, that a result was obtained in violation of these rules, we may void the result, revoke any certificate issued (its public verification page will show it as revoked), remove leaderboard entries, and suspend or terminate your account. Fees for voided paid attempts are not refundable.

• Certificates evidence that you passed a specific OneRoadmap assessment or simulation on a specific date. They are not academic degrees, government licenses, or guarantees of employment.
• Each certificate has a public verification page showing your certificate name, credential, score/percentile, issue date and ID - this is how recruiters trust it. See our Privacy Policy for how to unpublish yours.
• You may display your certificate (for example on LinkedIn or your resume) truthfully and with the verification link intact. You may not alter a certificate, claim a revoked credential, or present someone else's credential as your own.
• We may revoke certificates obtained in violation of Section 5 or issued in error, and will state the status on the verification page.

"Get Verified" evaluates evidence you provide or connect - resume, projects, GitHub, LinkedIn, public platform activity, job simulations and interviews - to produce a Talent Graph and a verification status for a role. By starting it you agree that:

• You own or are authorized to share what you connect. You must only connect accounts and submit work that are genuinely yours. Ownership checks (OAuth, verification tokens) exist to protect other people; connecting someone else's account or copying their work is a breach of these terms and voids any verification.
• AI assists, OneRoadmap decides. AI models extract observations from your evidence; scores, levels and verification status are produced by OneRoadmap's own rules and may change when those rules are versioned. A verification is a statement about evidence we reviewed at a point in time, not a guarantee of employment or a professional licence.
• Connected-account permissions are yours to revoke. We access connected accounts only as described in the Privacy Policy and only while the connection is active. You may disconnect at any time; some evidence derived while connected remains part of your history so past results stay auditable.
• Posting on your behalf requires your click. If you connect LinkedIn for sharing, we publish only the content you review and explicitly submit, and never post automatically.
• Public profile content is your responsibility. You choose whether your profile is public and which sections show. Do not publish confidential information (for example, employer code or data) in projects or descriptions.
• Consent is required and recorded. We record the date on which you accepted these Terms and the Privacy Policy for this feature. If you do not agree, do not start the evaluation.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit - resumes, assessment answers, simulation work files, reviews and feedback (“Submissions”). You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, display and create derivative works of your Submissions solely to operate, provide and improve the Services (for example grading your work, generating your feedback report, or displaying your review). This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for data we must keep by law, content you shared publicly, and anonymised or aggregated data that no longer identifies you.

Our IP

The Services - including assessments, questions, datasets, briefs, designs, logos, software and content we provide - are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use them for your own career development. No other rights are granted.

We respect intellectual-property rights and expect the same of our users. If you believe content on the Services infringes your copyright, send a notice to gauravghai@htmlhints.com identifying the work, the infringing material and its location, your contact details, a good-faith statement, and your physical or electronic signature. We will remove or disable access to infringing material where appropriate and may terminate repeat infringers' accounts.

Core certifications and job-simulation attempts are free. Some features are paid - for example instant retries, instant restarts, detailed AI reviews, premium membership, events and sessions. Prices are shown before you pay, may include or add applicable taxes (GST, VAT or sales tax) depending on your location, and are processed by our payment partners (currently Razorpay). The Services link to and interoperate with third-party services - Google sign-in, LinkedIn sharing, payment processors, and external resources. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies; we are not responsible for them. Using them is your choice.

You can stop using the Services or delete your account at any time (Dashboard → Account Settings, or by emailing us). We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms - with notice and an opportunity to respond except where the breach involves cheating, fraud, abuse or legal risk. Sections that by their nature should survive (including 5–8 and 12–15) survive termination. Certificate verification pages may remain online after account deletion so previously issued credentials stay verifiable, unless you ask us to unpublish them.

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a credential will lead to any job, interview or outcome. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law in your country.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Services is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) ₹5,000. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you - including where liability arises from our gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or where such limits are not permitted for consumers.

You agree to indemnify us against claims, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Services, or your violation of any law or third-party right - except to the extent caused by our own breach or negligence.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence, disputes will be resolved by the courts of New Delhi, India. Before going to court, both sides agree to try in good faith to resolve any dispute informally by contacting gauravghai@htmlhints.com - most issues are sorted this way within days. If you are a consumer in the EEA or UK, you keep the protections of the law of the country where you live and may bring proceedings there.

• These Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refunds Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Services.
• If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
• You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with notice to you.
• We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
