Terms of Service

Welcome to oneroadmap.io. These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding contract between you and GHAI TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED, India, which operates the OneRoadmap platform and owns the OneRoadmap and The Perfect Resume brands. In these Terms we call it OneRoadmap, “we” or “us”. By accessing or using the Services you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Pricing, Payments & Refunds Policy, which are incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

What the Services are

The “Services” means the OneRoadmap platform and everything we offer through it, as it exists today and as it develops - including, where and when we make them available:

• the OneRoadmap website and web application;
• OneRoadmap Intelligence and our AI career tools, including AI-generated recommendations and reports;
• Ori, our AI assistant on WhatsApp;
• the OneRoadmap browser extension;
• job discovery, job recommendations and matching;
• application preparation and application-assistance tools;
• resume analysis and resume tailoring;
• job-readiness analysis, role-readiness scores and career roadmaps;
• the Talent Graph and related verification systems;
• certifications, skill verification, projects, assessments, job simulations, and interviews or contextual verification;
• premium membership, credits, subscription features and other paid services;
• connected-account integrations;
• employer, company, college and institutional tools, where applicable;
• workshops, events and sessions, where applicable; and
• support, communications, and any other feature we add to the platform.

New features that fall within this description are part of the Services and are covered by these Terms. If we launch something that needs its own terms, we will say so when you use it.

Who bills you

The agreement for the Services is with GHAI TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED. Payments and invoicing for a given transaction may be handled by a separate billing entity depending on where you are - see Section 15. The billing entity for your transaction is identified at checkout and on your receipt or invoice.

We may update these Terms as the Services evolve. For material changes we will give you reasonable advance notice - by updating this page, email, or an in-app notice. If you keep using the Services after a change takes effect, the updated Terms apply to you. If you don't agree with a change, stop using the Services and, if you wish, delete your account. Changes are not applied retroactively to a purchase you have already made.

• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Services. If you are under 18 and located in India, you may use the Services only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
• You agree to provide accurate, current registration information and keep it up to date. Certificates are issued in your account name - make sure it is your real name.
• Your account is personal. You may not share, sell or transfer it, and you are responsible for activity that happens under it. Keep your sign-in method (Google account or email OTP) secure and tell us immediately about any unauthorized use.
• One person, one account. Duplicate accounts may be removed.

You agree not to:

• use the Services for fraud, or to impersonate any person or misrepresent an affiliation;
• fabricate credentials, submit another person's work as your own, or present a credential you did not earn;
• cheat an assessment, simulation or verification, or attempt to manipulate a verification status, readiness score or match result;
• sell, resell, rent or transfer your account or access to any part of the Services;
• use malicious automation, introduce malware, or circumvent security controls, authentication, rate limits or access restrictions;
• scrape or crawl the Services where doing so is prohibited by these Terms or by law, or decompile or reverse-engineer them except to the extent the law expressly permits;
• interfere with the Services' operation, including probing or testing vulnerabilities without our written permission;
• abuse an employer's application system - for example bulk or automated submissions, or applications you have no genuine interest in;
• harass, defame or abuse other users;
• use the Services to build a competing certification database; or
• use the Services for any unlawful purpose.

Nothing in this section restricts anything you have an overriding legal right to do.

• Assessments and simulation tickets must be completed by you, personally, without another person taking or assisting during the timed test.
• You may not share, publish or solicit assessment questions, answers, datasets or answer keys; each simulation dataset is uniquely generated for you, and submitting work derived from someone else's dataset or answers is cheating.
• We use automated integrity signals (for example tab-switch detection, timing analysis and dataset fingerprinting) to detect violations, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• If we determine, acting reasonably, that a result was obtained in violation of these rules, we may void the result, revoke any certificate issued (its public verification page will show it as revoked), remove leaderboard entries, and suspend or terminate your account. Fees for voided paid attempts are not refundable, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

• A OneRoadmap certificate evidences that you completed or performed in a specific OneRoadmap assessment or simulation on a specific date, assessed by OneRoadmap's own methodology.
• Certificates are not academic degrees, government licences, or regulatory approvals, and they are not a guarantee of employment. Unless we expressly say otherwise for a specific programme, our certificates are not accredited or approved by any government, university or regulatory body, and we do not describe them as recognised or approved by one.
• An employer decides for itself what weight to give a credential. We do not guarantee that any employer will accept or recognise one.
• Each certificate has a public verification page showing your certificate name, credential, score/percentile, issue date and ID - this is how recruiters check it is genuine. See our Privacy Policy for how to unpublish yours.
• You may display your certificate (for example on LinkedIn or your resume) truthfully and with the verification link intact. You may not alter a certificate, claim a revoked credential, or present someone else's credential as your own.
• We may revoke certificates obtained in violation of Section 5 or issued in error, and will state the status on the verification page.

Our verification features evaluate evidence you provide or connect - resume, projects, GitHub, LinkedIn, public platform activity, job simulations and interviews - to produce a Talent Graph and a verification status for a role. By starting it you agree that:

• You own or are authorized to share what you connect. You must only connect accounts and submit work that are genuinely yours. Ownership checks (OAuth, verification tokens) exist to protect other people; connecting someone else's account or copying their work is a breach of these Terms and voids any verification.
• AI assists, OneRoadmap's methodology decides. AI models extract observations from your evidence; scores, levels and verification status are produced by OneRoadmap's own rules and may change when those rules are versioned. A verification is a statement about evidence we reviewed at a point in time - not a guarantee of employment and not a professional licence.
• Connected-account permissions are yours to revoke. We access connected accounts only as described in the Privacy Policy and only while the connection is active. You may disconnect at any time; some evidence derived while connected remains part of your history so past results stay auditable.
• Posting on your behalf requires your click. If you connect LinkedIn for sharing, we publish only the content you review and explicitly submit, and never post automatically.
• Public profile content is your responsibility. Your profile page is public by default, and you can make it private or hide individual sections at any time in Settings. Whichever you choose, what you put on it is yours: do not publish confidential information (for example, employer code or data) in projects or descriptions.
• Consent is required and recorded. We record the date on which you accepted these Terms and the Privacy Policy for this feature. If you do not agree, do not start the evaluation.

OneRoadmap uses artificial intelligence and automated systems to generate recommendations, analysis, drafts, feedback, reports and other outputs - across resume analysis, job matching, readiness analysis, application drafting, tailored resumes and cover letters, assessment feedback, Ori on WhatsApp and the browser extension.

• AI-generated information can contain errors, omissions or outdated information. Review anything important - a tailored resume, a cover letter, a drafted answer - before you rely on it or submit it.
• AI outputs are not guarantees of employment, interviews, admission, compensation, career outcomes or employer decisions.
• Job-readiness, verification and matching scores are informational indicators based on the evidence available to us and on OneRoadmap's own methodologies. Scores and methodologies may change as the platform improves, and a score may change when your evidence or our rules change.
• We do not guarantee that any employer will agree with a score, verification or recommendation, or give it any weight at all.
• You remain responsible for what you submit. Anything that goes into your profile, your resume or an application is your statement, not ours - check it is accurate before it goes out.
• AI assists with extraction, drafting and analysis; platform scores and verification statuses are determined by OneRoadmap's own methodology, not chosen by a model.

OneRoadmap is a career technology and talent-intelligence platform. Unless expressly stated otherwise for a specific service, OneRoadmap does not act as an employment agency, recruitment agency or employer, and does not guarantee placement, interviews or employment.

• Jobs shown on the platform may originate from employers, public sources, third-party platforms or other lawful sources.
• Availability, salary, eligibility, deadlines and job descriptions may change, may be incomplete, or may be out of date by the time you see them.
• Verify material information with the employer - pay, location, eligibility, closing date - before you rely on it or make a decision based on it.
• Job matches and recommendations are exactly that: recommendations. They are not offers, not guarantees, and not a statement that you will be considered.
• We do not control employer hiring decisions and take no part in them. Employers are responsible for their own recruitment decisions, processes and communications.
• We do not guarantee that an employer will respond to you, or that an application will reach a particular person.

The OneRoadmap browser extension is optional. Depending on the permissions you grant it, and only on the pages where you use it, it may:

• detect that a page is a job posting or an application form;
• read the information needed to identify the relevant job;
• assist in populating application fields;
• generate or retrieve resume and application materials from your OneRoadmap account; and
• save or synchronise job and application information with your OneRoadmap account.

Your responsibilities and our limits

• The extension acts only within the permissions you grant, and only when you use a OneRoadmap feature on that page. You can withdraw permissions or remove the extension at any time.
• Review every application before you submit it. Autofill is a convenience; the accuracy of what is in the form, and the application you finally send, remain yours.
• We do not guarantee that an application will be submitted successfully, or received, read or acted on by an employer.
• Third-party websites change without notice, and a change can stop the extension working on a site. We do not guarantee it will work on any particular site, or continue to.
• You must comply with the terms of any third-party website you use the extension on. The extension is not designed or authorised to circumvent security systems, bot protection, CAPTCHAs, access restrictions or any site's technical controls, and you must not attempt to use it that way.

Ori is an AI-powered OneRoadmap interface you can reach on WhatsApp. It can help with job discovery, career preparation, resumes, applications and other supported OneRoadmap functions.

• Your messages to Ori may be processed by OneRoadmap and by authorised AI and service providers, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Ori's responses may be inaccurate and should be reviewed before you act on them. Section 8 applies to Ori in full.
• Please do not send highly sensitive information you do not need to share - identity documents, financial details, health information or similar - to Ori or through WhatsApp.
• WhatsApp is a third-party service operated by Meta and subject to its own terms and privacy practices. We do not control it, and deleting data with us does not delete Meta's own copy.
• Deletion and privacy requests for OneRoadmap WhatsApp data are handled under our Privacy Policy and Data Deletion page. Replying STOP turns off alerts; unlinking the number and deleting the conversation is a request we action within 30 days.

Your content stays yours

You own the content you submit - resumes, projects, portfolios, assessment answers, simulation work files, reviews and feedback (“Submissions”). We claim no ownership of them, and nothing here transfers ownership to us.

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, analyse, grade, transform and generate feedback on your Submissions, to display them where you have chosen to make them public, and otherwise to provide the Services to you - and to improve the Services where our Privacy Policy and applicable law permit it. The licence is limited to those purposes and lasts only as long as we need it for them.

It ends when you delete the content or your account, except for: records we must keep by law, content you chose to make public and which others may already hold, and anonymised or aggregated data that no longer identifies you. What is deleted, what is kept and how long it takes are set out on Delete your data and in Privacy Policy §12.

Our IP

The Services - including assessments, questions, datasets, briefs, designs, logos, software and content we provide - are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them for your own career development. No other rights are granted.

We respect intellectual-property rights and expect the same of our users. If you believe content on the Services infringes your copyright, send a notice to gaurav.ghai@oneroadmap.in identifying the work, the infringing material and its location, your contact details, a good-faith statement, and your physical or electronic signature. We will remove or disable access to infringing material where appropriate and may terminate repeat infringers' accounts.

Much of OneRoadmap is free, and free access is not a trial that runs out. Some things are paid. These are the shapes a paid item can take, and they are not the same as each other:

• Free features. Available without payment. Nothing in this section reduces what you get for free.
• Free trials and promotional access. Where offered, we tell you what it includes, how long it lasts and what happens when it ends, before it starts.
• A 24-hour Premium Pass or similar promotional access. A one-off purchase giving premium access for a fixed window. It does not renew and is not a subscription; when the window ends, it ends.
• One-time digital purchases. Credits, top-ups, instant retries and restarts, detailed AI reviews, events and sessions. Bought once, delivered once.
• Recurring subscriptions. Where a membership is offered on an auto-renewing basis, it renews at the displayed price and interval until you cancel.
• Optional paid services. Anything else we offer for a fee, priced and described where it is sold.

What you see before you pay

Before you complete a purchase, we show you:

• the product or plan;
• the price and the currency;
• applicable taxes;
• the billing frequency, where a plan recurs;
• whether renewal is automatic - and if it is, when the next charge occurs; and
• how to cancel.

We do not pre-select paid options, and we do not use misleading cancellation flows. If a plan does not auto-renew, we do not describe it as recurring; if it does, we tell you before you pay.

Cancelling

Cancelling an auto-renewing plan stops the next charge. It does not shorten the period you have already paid for - you keep access until that period ends - and it is not by itself a refund of a billing period already delivered, unless mandatory consumer law or our Pricing, Payments & Refunds Policy says otherwise. Credits already spent are not restored by cancelling.

How payment is processed

Payments may be processed by authorised third-party payment processors depending on your location, currency and payment method. Those processors, and the banks and payment partners behind them, handle your payment details under their own terms and security obligations. We never receive or store your full card number, UPI PIN, CVV or banking credentials - see our Privacy Policy.

Who bills you

• India. For certain transactions in India, payments and applicable tax invoices for OneRoadmap services may be processed and issued under The Perfect Resume, the GST-registered Indian billing entity supporting OneRoadmap's domestic payment operations.
• Outside India. For certain customers outside India, payments, invoicing and related commercial processing may be handled by One Roadmap Marketing Management, a business licensed by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism.

The billing entity that applies to your transaction will normally appear at checkout and on the payment confirmation, receipt or invoice. Whichever entity bills you, your agreement for the Services themselves remains with GHAI TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED, and being billed by one entity rather than another does not change the statutory rights you have where you live.

Taxes

Prices may include or exclude GST, VAT, sales tax or other applicable taxes depending on your location and the service purchased. Applicable taxes will be displayed at checkout and/or on the invoice where required by law. For eligible Indian transactions, The Perfect Resume may issue GST tax invoices under GSTIN 07AKJPC2028B1ZV; the current applicable GST rate for the relevant services is generally 18%, though the rate that applies to any particular product or transaction depends on the law in force at the time. For international transactions, the invoice identifies the applicable UAE billing entity and carries the information the law requires.

Your payment method

You must use only payment methods you are legally authorised to use. Where a payment is reversed, disputed, fraudulent or not successfully completed, we may suspend or withdraw the paid access it bought, subject to applicable law and after telling you where it is reasonable to do so.

Our Pricing, Payments & Refunds Policy sets out what is refundable and how to ask. It forms part of these Terms, and we have not repeated it here.

The general commercial position is that paid digital services, subscriptions, AI-generated deliverables, premium access and other digital functionality are generally non-refundable once access has been provided or the relevant service has been delivered, consumed or substantially performed.

Refunds and other remedies remain available:

• where we fail to provide the service you purchased;
• where a payment was duplicated or charged in error;
• where mandatory consumer law requires it; and
• where our Refund Policy otherwise expressly provides for it.

EU/EEA and UK consumers

If you are a consumer in the EEA or the UK you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from an online purchase. For digital content and digital services supplied immediately, that right can be lost - but only where you have given the express request and acknowledgment the law requires before supply begins. Where we rely on that exception, we ask for it separately at checkout; we do not treat simply paying as a waiver, and we do not pre-tick it.

For an ongoing subscription, performance is not complete just because it has started: if you withdraw within the withdrawal period you pay only for what you have actually received up to that point. Your mandatory EU/EEA and UK consumer rights are unaffected by these Terms. The same is true of mandatory consumer rights in India, the UAE, the United States and anywhere else you are protected by them - including under India's Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

The Services connect to and interoperate with third parties. Which ones apply depends on what you use, and may include:

• Google, for sign-in and for the AI models we use;
• GitHub and LinkedIn, where you connect them;
• WhatsApp and Meta, for Ori;
• payment processors, banks and payment partners;
• job boards and external job and application websites;
• browser extension stores and platforms, which distribute the extension under their own rules;
• AI and model providers; and
• hosting, email, analytics and error-monitoring providers.

Each of these has its own terms and privacy policy, which govern your use of it. We do not control them, and we cannot guarantee their continued availability, or that a change on their side will not interrupt a OneRoadmap feature that depends on them. Nothing in this section limits our own legal obligations to you.

You can leave at any time. Stop using the Services, or delete your account from Dashboard → Settings → Account settings, or ask us by email. Deletion works as described on Delete your data, and that route stays available to you.

We may suspend or terminate access where there is:

• fraud, or a serious security risk;
• cheating, or manipulation of verification or scores;
• misuse of the Services or abuse of others;
• unlawful activity;
• a payment reversal or unresolved non-payment; or
• a material breach of these Terms.

Where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you first and give you a chance to respond. We may act immediately, and explain afterwards, where there is a serious security, fraud, abuse or legal risk.

Sections that by their nature should survive - including 5, 6, 12, 13, 16, and 19 to 22 - survive termination. Certificate verification pages may remain online after account deletion so previously issued credentials stay verifiable, unless you ask us to unpublish them.

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

In particular, we do not guarantee:

• employment, or that you will be hired;
• an interview, or that you will be shortlisted;
• any particular salary or compensation;
• that a job shown will be available, or accurate;
• that an employer will respond to you;
• that an application will be submitted successfully or received;
• that any employer, institution or third party will accept a OneRoadmap certificate or verification;
• that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free; or
• the accuracy or completeness of any AI-generated output.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes rights you have under mandatory consumer law where you live.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Services is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) ₹5,000.

This limit is subject to mandatory consumer law. It does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited - including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for our gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or where the consumer law that protects you does not permit such a limit. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations at all, in which case they do not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify us against claims, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Services, or your violation of any law or third-party right - except to the extent caused by our own breach or negligence, and except where the law does not permit such an indemnity from a consumer.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to mandatory consumer-protection, privacy or other rights that cannot legally be waived in your jurisdiction, the courts of New Delhi, Delhi, India shall have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms and the Services.

This clause does not remove any mandatory right or remedy available to you where you live - including consumer rights in the UAE, the EEA, the United Kingdom and the United States. If you are a consumer in the EEA or the UK, you keep the protections of the law of your country of residence and may bring proceedings there. The fact that a payment is processed or invoiced by an Indian or UAE billing entity does not change this.

Before going to court, both sides agree to try in good faith to resolve any dispute informally - see Section 23. Most issues are sorted this way within days.

If something has gone wrong, tell us and we will look at it. We acknowledge complaints promptly and aim to resolve them within 30 days, or sooner where the law that applies to you requires it.

• Customer support - anything about your account, a charge or an invoice: support@oneroadmap.in.
• Grievance, privacy and legal notices: Grievance Officer, Gaurav Ghai - gaurav.ghai@oneroadmap.in. This is also the address for privacy requests under our Privacy Policy.

Escalation routes available to you under local law - a consumer forum in India, a supervisory authority in the EEA or UK, or the equivalent where you live - remain open to you regardless of this section.

• These Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Pricing, Payments & Refunds Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Services. You can delete your data at any time - Delete your data explains how.
• If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect, and the unenforceable part is applied as closely as the law allows. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
• You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with notice to you and without reducing your rights.
• We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
