Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to understand storage requirements and deliver what is expected. Support migration projects, including data movement, cluster expansion, and hardware refresh. Data Protection Implement and manage data protection workflows including snapshots, replication and disaster recovery plans. Ensure DR readiness, perform failover/failback testing, and validate storage resilience. Troubleshooting & Support: Investigate storage related incidents, performance bottlenecks, and access issues. Work with Dell EMC support for firmware upgrades, and complex issue resolution. Create and maintain documentation including topology diagrams, SOPs, and configuration guides. Security & Compliance: Enforce storage security best practices including access controls, encryption, and auditing. Ensure storage environment adheres to compliance standards. Required Skills & Experience: 5–10+ years of experience in enterprise storage administration. Strong hands on expertise with: EMC Isilon (OneFS management, scale out NAS, performance tuning) EMC PowerVault (ME4/ME5 series preferred, SAN/NAS architecture, RAID/LUN management) EMC PowerFlex (SDS/SDC/SVM components, cluster management, REST API, performance tuning) Solid understanding of: NFS and SMB protocols SAN technologies (FC, iSCSI) RAID concepts and storage tiering Experience with performance analysis tools and storage monitoring systems. Knowledge of virtualization/storage integration (VMware).
