About Reverion
Reverion is building the most efficient power plant in history: a next-generation power plant that delivers reliable energy today and is ready for a fully renewable future. Our patented high-temperature fuel cell technology converts gas, including natural gas, biogas and hydrogen, directly into electricity. With a measured electrical efficiency of 74.2%, it holds the world record. Conventional gas power plants reach around 40%. The same system can also run in reverse. When renewable electricity is cheap and abundant, it converts power back into hydrogen or methane, enabling efficient long-duration energy storage. As an inherent part of the process, it also captures the CO₂ contained in the gas. From biogas plants and hospitals to data centers and other high-power-density applications, our technology serves customers wherever reliable, efficient and flexible on-site power is needed. Founded in 2022, Reverion is based in Eresing near Munich, where our team of more than 200 people develops and builds our container-based systems in series.
