What you will do
- Contribute to designing, developing, and deploying high-quality product
- Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, designers, educators, and gain exposure to real-world usage in schools
- Understand the codebase, backend architecture, and core product workflows
- Independently deliver major backend features by writing clean, modular, and optimized code
- Own backend modules end-to-end, coordinating closely with Product and Support teams
What they are looking for
- Education: B.E/B.Tech degree
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of relevant working experience (SaaS preferred)
- Frameworks & Technologies - Node.js, Express & GraphQL, PostgreSQL
- Tools & Platforms - Git, Knex, GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools
- Experience with scripting and data analysis tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn
- Ability to write maintainable, readable, and scalable code
Nice to have
- Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem (Lambda, SQS, CloudWatch, API Gateway, etc.)
- Experience with background jobs, queues, and workers
- Exposure to additional data stores such as Redis or ClickHouse or Elastic Search
- Basic understanding of React and Apollo Client
- Product mindset with empathy for end users and strong collaboration skills
- Past working experience in SaaS or product based companies
