What you will do
- End-to-end projects: instrumentation → backend services → web/app UI → rollout & iteration.
- Build and iterate on user-facing product features (activation, retention, paid conversion, core UX).
- Design, implement, and scale backend systems: APIs, data models, pipelines, jobs, reliability.
- Improve frontend surfaces where it matters (web product, internal tools, landing pages, onboarding flows).
- Drive experiments: set hypotheses, ship fast, measure results, and harden what works.
What they are looking for
- Have strong backend fundamentals (APIs, DBs, async jobs, caching, performance, reliability).
- Can comfortably ship frontend changes (React/TypeScript or similar), even if it’s not your “main thing.”
- Care deeply about product outcomes and can translate ambiguity into shipped work.
- Prefer shipping and learning over long debates; you can move quickly without breaking things.
- 6–10+ years of experience shipping production software (startup pace preferred).
Nice to have
- Experience running experiments / analytics instrumentation (events, funnels, cohorts).
- Experience building internal tools that make teams faster.
- Startup / zero-to-one experience.
