What you will do
- Lead and develop software engineering teams through engineering managers and technical leads.
- Drive execution of technical and organizational priorities, ensuring delivery of reliable, scalable, and operable services.
- Partner with teams across OCI Networking to design and deliver large-scale cloud infrastructure.
- Establish strong engineering practices and operational excellence for production distributed systems.
- Deliver complex projects on time with high quality while effectively managing dependencies, risks, and priorities.
What they are looking for
- 8+ years of experience leading engineering teams building and operating highly available, production-grade distributed systems or cloud infrastructure.
- Experience managing engineering managers and/or senior technical leaders.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and software architecture.
- Experience with modern software development and deployment practices, including CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and large-scale deployment workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver complex engineering initiatives and collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries.
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals and configuration management is highly desirable.
