What you will do
- Own matching engine (embeddings + domain matcher routing consultations in seconds)
- Own realtime infra (FastAPI + Postgres + Redis + Ably streaming agent-expert sessions)
- Own the MCP plugin layer (tools, hooks, and skills for agent escalation)
- Build and maintain Expert app (Expo / React Native / NativeWind)
- Build client dashboard, billing, ratings, and observability for the marketplace
What they are looking for
- 3+ years of experience
- Done the work at the frontier (OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepMind, Meta AI, Cursor, Cognition, Mercor, or somewhere similar, or equivalent work)
- Range to move from a Postgres query plan to a tricky LLM eval to a React Native build
- Opinions about agent UX, MCP, tool design, context handoff, and what an agent's "I'm stuck" signal should look like
- Ship fast: rather have something running in production than a perfect design doc
- Resonate with the thesis that humans and AI work better together than apart
