Our customers, vehicle manufacturers, test labs, and safety organisations, trust us with sensitive pre-release vehicle and on-road data.We are hiring a Senior Security Engineer to own security across our internal IT and production cloud environments. You will help define how security is designed, operated, and improved at IVEX.In this role you willSecure IVEX's AWS production environment, including EKS, storage, databases, CI/CD, and deployed applications.Own internal IT security across endpoints, Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, VPN, SaaS tools, and customer sensor kits.Manage identity, access, secrets, credentials, and encryption keys, including onboarding, offboarding, and periodic access reviews.Build and maintain security logging, monitoring, alerting, and detection.Lead incident response, from triage and containment through recovery and post-mortem.Manage vulnerabilities across code, containers, dependencies, and infrastructure, and drive remediation with engineering teams.Define and enforce practical security standards and improve security awareness across the company.Protect customer data through access control, encryption, segregation, retention, and traceability.Support customer security reviews, audits, penetration tests, and certification readiness for ISO 27001, TISAX, NIS2, and GDPR.Verify backup, recovery, and business continuity procedures.Define the security roadmap and regularly report risks, incidents, and remediation progress to the CTO and COO.What we are looking forBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience in security engineering, cloud security, or infrastructure security.Strong hands-on experience securing AWS environments, including IAM, KMS, S3, EKS, VPC, and security monitoring.Practical experience responding to real security incidents.Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.Good working knowledge of Linux and Python for automation and security tooling.Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, TISAX, NIS2, CIS, or equivalent.Ability to independently prioritize security work and own the security function in a small engineering team.Nice to haveExperience with ISO 27001 or TISAX certification and enterprise security assessments.Knowledge of automotive cybersecurity standards such as ISO/SAE 21434 and UNECE R155/R156.Experience protecting personal or confidential data under GDPR.Application security experience, including threat modelling, secure development, and secrets scanning.Experience handling automotive data such as camera, LiDAR, GNSS, or object-list data.We offerCompetitive salary and benefits.Full ownership of the security function.A technically challenging environment with real-world safety impact.The opportunity to shape IVEX's security practices, architecture, and certification roadmap.Send us your CV and surprise us with your motivation.
