Strategic Projects Lead

COMPANY OVERVIEW We're a YC-backed startup on a mission to bridge the gap between AI and the $5T knowledge work economy through cutting-edge data infrastructure and environments. We're a technical team with experience from Scale AI, Uber, and previously founding a successful AI company. We're based in San Francisco, CA, and recently raised an oversubscribed seed round led by top-tier VCs. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Lead cross-functional projects spanning engineering, operations, and go-to-market. - Own end-to-end execution of RL Environments delivery for strategic customers and projects. - Report progress directly to the founders and work on some of the most impactful problems at the company. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - Strong technical background — a CS degree is ideal; at minimum, the ability to do data analytics using SQL or Python. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to own ambiguous, cross-functional projects end-to-end, balancing speed vs quality. - An entrepreneurial mindset — excited to build things from scratch. - Strong communication skills and a bias toward ownership PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - 2+ years leading a team, developing product or operational processes, or as a SWE - Prior experience at startups / high-growth companies, in consulting, or tackling operational challenges - Experience with human data / applied AI - specifically in post-training / RL
