What you will do
- Work closely with the Engineering Lead to contribute to the system architecture (backend and frontend) for products used by customers, store teams, and partners.
- Build core systems across multiple products independently from the ground up—with the freedom to experiment and try new things.
- Stay aligned with product strategy, evaluate feasibility of ideas from PMs, estimate effort, and help plan roadmaps and feature rollouts.
- Collaborate with fellow developers to meet timelines, unblock each other, and share best practices.
- Ensure everything you build is well-documented, scalable, and maintainable.
What they are looking for
- 3+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer with ownership of a product or major module.
- Expertise in JavaScript frameworks like Node.js, Express.js, or Python frameworks like Django.
- Strong experience in writing REST APIs and working with relational databases.
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- A proactive mindset to build things from scratch in an unstructured environment.
- High ownership, curiosity, and the ability to balance pragmatism with quality.
- Interest in the Retail & E-commerce space, and building tech that works for small-town India.
