What you will do
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with QHSE standards, statutory regulations, and internal policies.
- Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, and QHSE training to workers and staff.
- Lead incident/accident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action planning.
- Maintain QHSE documentation including checklists, audit reports, compliance logs, permits, and certifications.
- Monitor environmental impact across sites (e.g., waste disposal, emissions, and energy use).
What they are looking for
- Education: Bachelor’s/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Safety).
- 2–5 years in a QHSE role within solar, construction, manufacturing, or engineering sectors.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols, quality control processes, and environmental regulations.
- Excellent observational and auditing skills.
- Proficient in report writing and incident analysis.
- Comfortable with tools like MS Office, safety audit software, and checklists.
- Good communication in regional/local language & English/Hindi.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving license.
- Willingness to travel frequently to field sites.
- Open to working on weekends or extended hours during critical site activities.
Nice to have
- QHSE certifications like NEBOSH, IOSH, or ISO lead auditor training preferred.
- Experience in rooftop/ground-mount solar projects is an added advantage.
