from job pageLocation Nanded, Solapur, Chandauli Function Educational Background Position Cluster Manager Sales & Operations Planning Experience Share Job Key Purpose Of The Role: The Cluster Manager – Sales & Operations Planning is responsible for end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of aggregation, sales, delivery, and platform operations across assigned Biomass Banks. The role ensures alignment between sales demand, aggregation readiness, equipment availability, delivery efficiency, quality compliance, and commercial governance to achieve predictable supply, cost control, and operational excellence. Key Tasks: 1. Aggregation Planning & Readiness: Aggregation Planning: Prepare aggregation plans for each Biomass Bank, aligned with sales and purchase requirements. Aggregation Readiness Reviews: Conduct regular readiness reviews to ensure the availability and preparedness of: Farmers and available acres Aggregation partners Tractors, drivers, and field resources Rolling Aggregation Plan: Develop and maintain a 12-week rolling aggregation plan covering Biomass, FOM, and other Bio Products. Collection Targets: Plan and monitor daily collection targets (MT) and track Plan vs. Actual performance. Deviation Management: Identify deviations and update the next day's aggregation plan to address operational gaps. 2. Equipment & Delivery Planning: Equipment Availability: Ensure availability of active equipment at each location in line with aggregation and sales plans. Delivery Equipment Planning: Develop and manage delivery equipment plans, including Tractor–Trolley and EV vehicles. Equipment Deployment Planning: Plan and manage the deployment of Trolleys, Slashers, Rakers, Balers, and other required equipment. Utilization Monitoring: Track equipment deployment and utilization against planned requirements. FOM Delivery Planning: Prepare and monitor FOM delivery schedules to optimize vehicle utilization and maintain OPEX within the approved budget. 3. Productivity, Quality & Compliance Monitoring: Baler Productivity: Monitor baler productivity against defined operational benchmarks. Productivity Deviation Management: Highlight productivity deviations to Rural Sales Operations Executives and OEMs and drive corrective actions. Inward Quality Monitoring: Monitor the quality of incoming material, with specific focus on moisture levels. Quality Deviation Management: Identify and flag quality deviations to: Warehouse Supervisor: Ensure SOP-compliant stacking and handling. Rural Sales Operations Executive: Take corrective measures to prevent recurring quality deviations. 4. Commercial & Partner Management: Rate Negotiation: Lead aggregation partner rate negotiations and support contract finalization. Commercial Adjustments: Manage commercial adjustments for aggregation partners related to: Quality deviations Fuel consumption Other recoverable costs 5. Platform Operations & Reporting: Platform Operations: Oversee platform operations related to aggregation, deliveries, documentation, and transaction updates. Invoice Management: Ensure timely uploading of invoices on customer portals and conduct regular reviews for accuracy and completeness. Weekly Reporting: Prepare and release weekly aggregation and delivery performance reports. AR/AP Reviews: Conduct fortnightly Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) reviews and coordinate with finance teams for timely closure. 6. Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP): Bio Products Sales Plan: Own the sales plan for all Bio Products, including: Annual sales plan Monthly sales targets Weekly sales targets Operations Planning: Prepare the operations plan aligned with the approved sales plan. Demand & Capacity Alignment: Drive alignment between sales demand, aggregation capacity, equipment availability, and delivery plans. Execution Monitoring: Monitor execution quality and provide corrective guidance wherever required. Opportunity: This role offers the opportunity to own end-to-end Sales & Operations Planning across a multi-location biomass ecosystem. The Cluster Manager will play a critical role in translating sales demand into predictable, cost- efficient supply by driving aggregation readiness, equipment utilization, delivery excellence, and quality compliance while working closely with rural partners, sales teams, and platform operations to scale sustainable bio- product supply.
