What you will do
- Contribute across every part of how our AI Employees work
- Go where the hardest problem is, rather than owning a single fixed surface
- Work in agent infrastructure and code
- Work in product surfaces
- Work in evals and reliability
What they are looking for
- Want to work in person in San Francisco
- Have strong software engineering fundamentals, with experience building production systems end to end
- Have built and operated production systems and can explain the decisions, tradeoffs, and outcomes you owned
- Independently identify important problems, define your own work, and follow through without waiting for a specification
- Bring technical depth and learn quickly when the problem takes you into unfamiliar areas
- Communicate your reasoning clearly and work well with people who will question it
Nice to have
- You've built a product from scratch or helped shape an early engineering team
- You've shipped agents or other AI systems into production
- You've participated in hackathons
