What you will do
- Audit and qualify supplier-factory combinations against Teachmint's quality and capability standards
- Own creation and maintenance of SKU-wise BOMs and SOPs across the product portfolio
- Own IQC, Line QC, OQC, and PDI processes end-to-end
- Identify localization opportunities and drive direct sourcing to grow Local BOM
- Lead RCAs for field failures and drive closure of factory-level corrective actions
What they are looking for
- 7–10 years of experience in EMS/electronics manufacturing quality, with prior exposure to service or after-sales operations
- Proven experience managing teams and cross-functional stakeholders in a manufacturing or hardware environment
- Strong track record in factory audits, line quality, and BOM/SOP ownership
- Experience setting up or managing service centre operations, SLAs, and partner performance
- Excellent data analysis, reporting, and executive communication skills
- Comfort operating with high ownership in a fast-scaling, lean team environment
- Frequent travel to Indian factories, suppliers, and service centres; occasional travel to Chinese suppliers.
Nice to have
- Experience in localization or Make-in-India (MII) initiatives
- Exposure to both ODM and OEM manufacturing models
- Prior experience building or scaling a quality/service function from the ground up
