What you will do
- Own the regional planning cycle, including market sizing, segmentation, prioritisation, demand forecasting and resource planning.
- Translate strategic priorities into 90-day, annual and multi-year roadmaps with clear milestones, owners and commercial outcomes.
- Build business cases that connect customer needs, market opportunity, product capability, investment requirements and expected GMV or revenue impact.
- Establish the operating cadence and single source of truth for pipeline, performance, risks, decisions and cross-functional actions.
- Diagnose performance gaps and recommend whether to scale, pivot or stop initiatives based on evidence.
What they are looking for
- 9+ years of experience across strategy, business planning, commercial operations, GTM or strategic partnerships in technology platforms, fintech, e-commerce, SaaS, travel, mobility, delivery or related sectors.
- Proven ability to develop plans, forecasts and prioritisation frameworks, and to turn ambiguous business problems into clear recommendations. You have experience engaging with AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, improve workflows and contribute new ideas.
- Experience with commercial ownership, such as GMV, revenue, P&L, pipeline or unit economics, and the ability to build data-driven business cases.
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders across Sales, Product, Finance, Marketing and Operations, including navigating trade-offs and securing alignment.
- Experience developing or managing complex partnerships, with the ability to assess partner fit, structure a value proposition and move from hypothesis to pilot or launch.
- Clear, concise and structured communication, with the ability to explain complex ideas in English to regional stakeholders.
- Professional proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, spoken and written, to engage Mandarin-speaking clients, partners and stakeholders.
