What you will do

  • Help build and run secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and shared platform services used by teams across Arup.
  • Automate everything you can – Infrastructure as Code in Terraform, CI/CD pipelines and self-service tooling.
  • Improve reliability and security through monitoring, incident response and sensible governance.
  • Work alongside platform engineers, data engineers and architects, with real scope to shape how we engineer.

What they are looking for

  • You are new or have some experience in platform engineering, DevOps or cloud engineering, supporting production workloads.
  • You've had some exposure to major cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP) and with Infrastructure as Code
  • You’re comfortable with Git and CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and script your way out of repetitive work
  • You’ve come across containers or serverless, monitoring and alerting, and you keep security front of mind.
  • You enjoy collaborating, keep learning, and can explain technical ideas to non-technical colleagues.
