What you will do
- Lead end-to-end ISCC and other certification projects, from scope and registration through audit preparation, certification, and ongoing compliance
- Advise customers on ISCC EU, ISCC PLUS, ISCC CORSIA, and EU RED III requirements
- Design and review mass-balance, chain-of-custody, sustainability declaration, supplier documentation, traceability, and record keeping processes
- Guide Union Database (UDB) setup and operations, including registration, transaction reporting, traceability, and reconciliation
- Perform and review GHG calculations under EU RED III, ISCC, and related methodologies
What they are looking for
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in sustainability certification, auditing, renewable fuels, bioenergy, or a closely related field.
- Practical experience across ISCC EU, with working knowledge of ISCC PLUS and/or ISCC CORSIA
- Practical experience across EU RED II / RED III requirements
- Practical experience across ISCC mass-balance and chain-of-custody systems
- Practical experience across GHG emissions calculations under EU / ISCC methodologies
- Practical experience across Union Database (UDB) workflows
- Practical experience across Preparing companies for certification and surveillance / recertification audits
- Practical experience across Reviewing sustainability declarations, supplier evidence, mass-balance records, GHG calculations, and supporting documentation
Nice to have
- Completed ISCC auditor training or qualification is strongly preferred, particularly for ISCC EU.
- Experience as an RSB auditor or lead auditor is an additional advantage.
- Experience at a certification body, sustainability consultancy, verification body, or renewable-fuels company is especially relevant.
- Experience with RSB, biofuels, biogas / RNG, SAF, biomethane, hydrogen / e-fuels, or other low-carbon fuels is valuable.
- Familiarity with the Italian National Certification Scheme, Nabisy, Guarantees of Origin (GO), ReFuelEU Aviation, FuelEU Maritime, European renewable-fuel trading, or national registries is a plus.
