Job DescriptionJob Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Workday Integration Developer to independently own and deliver complex Workday integration initiatives. This role requires deep technical expertise across the Workday integration ecosystem and the ability to contribute with minimal ramp-up time, supporting both strategic project work and mission-critical production operations. Key Responsibilities Independently design, develop, test, and deploy Workday integrations end-to-end.Build and maintain integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Orchestrate.Experience with Workday Web Services and APIs (REST and SOAP)Develop and support PECI/PICOF payroll integrations.Design integrations between Workday and external enterprise applications using custom REST APIs.Build and maintain reporting solutions using Workday Reports, RaaS, and Calculated FieldsImplement and manage integration authentication and security, including OAuth 2.0, ISU (Integration System User) configuration, Integration System Security Groups, domain security policies, and API scopes.Troubleshoot integration issues, optimize performance, and provide ongoing production supportSupport recurring business-critical programs, including Annual Compensation Review (ACR), Mid-Year Performance processes, and biannual Workday releases/regression testingContribute to strategic initiatives such as Workday Payroll, My Total Rewards (MTR), Moveworks, and new third-party/vendor integrationsPartner effectively with business, security, architecture, and external vendor teams throughout the integration lifecycle QualificationsTo be successful in this role you have:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.5+ years of experience in Workday integrations, with strong hands-on development experience.Experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting Workday integrations.Strong experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Prism, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, and Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST APIs).Proficiency in XML, XSLT, XPath, JSON, and web service technologies.Experience with integration middleware and enterprise integration platforms such as Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar technologies.Strong understanding of Workday business processes, security, calculated fields, custom reports, and integration system configurations.Experience troubleshooting and resolving integration failures and production issues.Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable and reliable integration solutions.Experience working in an Agile development environment using tools such as Jira or similar platforms.Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred QualificationsExperience integrating Workday with enterprise systems such as HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, Identity Management, and third-party applications.Knowledge of Workday integration best practices, security, and data privacy standards.Experience with monitoring, support, and operational management of enterprise integrations.Familiarity with DevOps practices, version control, CI/CD, and automated testing.Workday Integration certification is a plus.Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional and global teams.Additional InformationWork PersonasWe approach our distributed world of work with flexibility and trust.
