Job Description - We are looking for a knowledgeable and proactive Deputy Country Manager to become a part of our team in Egypt. - This position will oversee operational functions, technology integration, licensing strategies, and commercial initiatives. - The Deputy Country Manager will lead interdisciplinary teams, encompassing operations, technology, finance, and sales. - A critical component of this role involves ensuring alignment with the overarching goals of the organization. - This position plays a vital role in fostering growth and facilitating expansion efforts within the company. - This role will encompass the leadership of all licensing operations. - You will mentor, coach, and develop team members to cultivate a high-performing team environment. - You will establish explicit performance indicators and guarantee that teams meet targets for sales, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. - You will facilitate the seamless execution of operational workflows, which include user onboarding, order fulfillment, collections, and customer service. - You will aid in the execution of on-ground activation efforts and lead generation initiatives. - You will work collaboratively with the Finance Director to ensure financial objectives are reached and budgets are followed. - You will track key performance indicators for NowPay's growth, profit and loss, cash flow, and cost-effectiveness for the Egypt office in coordination with the finance director to ensure goal achievement. - Your role will be essential in achieving operational excellence and fostering a high-performance workplace culture in our Egypt office. Requirements - A minimum of 10 years of experience in senior managerial roles, preferably in fin-tech, financial services, or B2B2C startups. - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or related fields - MBA is a plus - Experience in Consumer Finance, Factoring and Microfinance is a plus. - Proven track record of successfully managing cross-functional teams. Experience in managing country-level operations is a strong advantage. - Strong understanding of financial performance metrics and compliance standards. - Experience in a fast-paced environment with a focus on achieving results. - Proven track record for obtaining fin-tech license - Excellent leadership and communication skills. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
