Skip to content Compliance ManagerAMEA Power2026-09-21T07:57:40+00:00 # Compliance Manager – Dubai, U.A.E. | Position | Compliance Manager | | : | : | | Reporting to | General Counsel | | Location | Dubai, U.A.E. | | Position Purpose | | : | | The Compliance Manager will be actively involved with management and be responsible for completing the development and implementation of Compliance policies, procedures and tools, as well as overseeing the Group’s ongoing compliance with internal policies and procedures, government laws and regulations. | | Responsibilities | | : | | - Policy Development: Design, implement, update, and maintain Compliance policies, procedures and tools across AMEA Power including in relation to third party consultants, business agents, partners, subcontractors, gifts, travel and hospitality and sponsorship.<br Due Diligence: Undertake third-party due diligence on counterparties proposing to do business with the AMEA Power from a Compliance perspective and identify red flags for management.<br Monitoring & Documentation: Monitor all operational processes and procedures using a Compliance management platform, maintain accurate records of Compliance activities, audit reports, maintain several Compliance registers including register of consultants, register of gifts (given and received), register of travel and hospitality, register of sponsorship events and related documentation.<br Internal Audits: Working with Internal Audit, conduct regular audits to assess the effectiveness of Compliance measures and identify areas of improvement.<br Reporting: Prepare and submit reports to senior management. Ensure the Group’s operations align with all applicable Compliance laws, regulations, and guidelines.<br Risk Assessment: Continuously assess Compliance risks, and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.<br Employee Training: Develop and deliver Compliance training programs (in-person and online) to educate employees about relevant regulations and the importance of Compliance. | | Person Specification | | | : | : | | Experience <br Requirements | - 5+ years’ experience of establishing and/or working in a Compliance function in a non-financial services sector business<br Renewable-energy exposure and experience (required) | | Education <br Requirements | - Bachelor’s degree in corporate law (preferred)<br Professional certifications in Compliance (e.g., Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager – CRCM) is a plus | | Required Role <br Related/Technical <br Skills | - Responsive and well organized with keen attention to details<br Experience with Compliance policies, procedures and tools, as well as with designing Compliance frameworks<br Maintain high standards of professional and ethical conduct<br Good critical thinking skills and open-minded thought process and intellectual honesty with an ability to dynamically adapt to different parts of the investment spectrum in structuring the best possible risk-return outcome for our investments<br Excellent written and verbal communication skills, presents ideas in a compressive, clear, concise and constructive manner<br Independence and autonomy and ability to collaborate with other departments/business units and Group’s affiliates | | Languages | - English proficiency other languages including Arabic and French are a plus | Submit CV to: talent@ameapower.com Page load link
