Additionally, we improve operations, product, and material flow across the breadth of the value chain and create greater supply network synergy and value.Roles and ResponsibilitiesAs a Warehouse Senior Consultant on the Supply Chain & Network Operations team, you will be responsible for: Lead warehouse and distribution center project work threads across activities from roadmap through deployment Support development of automation strategies and phased investment roadmaps, including target operating model design aligned to client fulfillment goals Co-lead solution design for warehouse technologies — including goods-to-person, sortation, AS/RS, AMRs, controls, and system interfaces — translating operational requirements into technical specifications Support definition of integration requirements across WMS, WCS, WES, ERP, TMS, and data platforms, producing requirements documentation and interface specifications Support vendor selection and evaluation processes, including RFP scoring, demo assessment, and reference checks Support warehouse automation strategies with larger network transformation projects Support operational readiness activities, including test planning, training material development, and go-live cutover support Communicate progress, risks, and recommendations to client stakeholders, including preparation of executive-level updates Mentor junior team members on workstream execution and provide guidance on deliverable quality A successful candidate would possess these skills: Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to build and sustain professional relationships Ability to lead workstreams Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor Ability to meet deadlines Ability to mentor and provide clear guidance to others QualificationsBasic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree 5+ years of experience in supply chain, fulfillment, automation engineering, operations transformation, or consulting 3+ years of experience leading/supporting complex programs with multiple workstreams and vendors 3+ years of experience with a leading Warehouse Management Solution (WMS), such as Manhattan Associates or Körber 2+ years of experience with WMS, WCS, or WES implementation or integration Experience working within an Agile delivery methodology Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future Preferred: Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Supply Chain Experience with warehouse management system, warehouse control system, and warehouse execution system implementation and integration patterns Experience with robotics or automation technologies, including autonomous mobile robots, automated storage and retrieval systems, sortation, conveyor, vision, or pick and pack automation Lean, Six Sigma, Project Management Professional, Prosci, or similar certification Experience in a regulated or high-complexity fulfillment environment, such as life sciences, food, cold chain, or e-commerce Experience using AI tools to drive improvement in warehouse operations and/or WMS delivery Experience leading and guiding client teams The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
