- Improve development processes, contribute to system architecture decisions, and troubleshoot production issues to ensure reliable platform performance.

- Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Proficiency in Software Development and Back-End Web Development, with experience building and maintaining server-side applications and APIs.
- Solid Programming skills and hands-on experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) in one or more modern languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, or similar).
- Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL), RESTful services, and integration with third-party systems such as accounting platforms or banking APIs.
- Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git), testing frameworks, and CI/CD practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment, communicate clearly, and take ownership of deliverables.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Software Engineer role based in Mumbai. ONLY MUMBAI CANDIDATES MAY APPLY
The Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs that power Setlmint’s financial operations platform.
Responsibilities include
