What you will do
- design, develop, and maintain back-end services and APIs that power Updatrr’s WhatsApp commerce features, integrations with Shopify, and AI-driven automation.

- Experience working with web frameworks, RESTful APIs, and databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), and familiarity with microservices or distributed systems.
- Comfort with version control (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, or similar).
- Ability to write unit and integration tests and follow secure coding and performance optimization best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, product-focused environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience in SaaS, e-commerce, or messaging/communication platforms is an advantage.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Software Developer role based in Gurgaon. The Software Developer will design, develop, and maintain back-end services and APIs that power Updatrr’s WhatsApp commerce features, integrations with Shopify, and AI-driven automation. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code; participating in architecture and design discussions; troubleshooting and optimizing existing systems for performance and reliability; and collaborating with product, AI, and front-end teams to deliver new features end-to-end.
The role also involves implementing best practices for testing, security, and scalability, as well as contributing to continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
