As a Platform Engineer at Torry Harris, you will work alongside experienced team members to help design, build, and maintain infrastructure that supports software development and deployment. Roles and Responsibilities

Collaborate with development teams to understand application deployment requirements and support environment setup (dev, staging, production).
Help integrate infrastructure provisioning into CI/CD pipelines to enable automated, repeatable environment deployments.
Participate in capacity planning and cost optimization efforts by identifying underutilized resources and suggesting right-sizing options.
Maintain and update technical documentation for infrastructure configurations, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
Support disaster recovery and backup strategy implementation for infrastructure components.
Assist in evaluating and piloting new tools/technologies for infrastructure automation, under the direction of senior team members.
Continuously learn and stay updated on cloud-native tools, DevOps practices, and platform engineering trends.
