About the role
structured by ORIAI2 Networking Organization is looking for experienced Network Developers interested in implementing, deploying and automating our RDMA fabrics to support our GPU business. We're looking for innovative thinkers who enjoy tackling new and exciting challenges.
What you will do
- Designs and develops advanced network systems that support scalable enterprise, data center, or cloud environments, ensuring alignment with existing infrastructure patterns.
- Designs and builds advanced modules within automation frameworks to support testing, operations, and service reliability across multiple environments.
- Designs and develops advanced test strategies and reusable test cases that validate complex network systems and enhance long-term network integrity and reliability.
- Partners with monitoring and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams to refine alerting systems and enhance early detection of network anomalies and degradation.
- Mentors junior engineers and acts as a technical SME, providing hands-on guidance in resolving complex issues.
What they are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in CS or related engineering field with 6+ years of Network Engineering experience or master’s with 5+ years of Network Engineering experience
- Experience working in a large ISP or cloud provider environment.
- Experience working in a network operations role.
- Folks with strong knowledge of protocols such as MPLS, BGP/OSPF/IS-IS, TCP, IPv4, IPv6, DNS, and DHCP.
- Extensive experience with scripting or automation and data center design
- Experience with networking protocols such as TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and SSL.
- Experience with network monitoring and telemetry solutions.
- Experience with network modeling and programming – YANG, OpenConfig, NETCONF.
- Ability to use professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Capable of working under limited supervision.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Excellent judgment in influencing product roadmap direction, features, and priorities.
- Participate in an on-call rotation.
Nice to have
- Experience in RDMA Networking is a plus.
- VxLAN and EVPN will be an added advantage.
- Python preferred but must demonstrate expertise in scripting or compiled language.
