Graduate in any discipline (Diploma/Degree preferred) Position Rural Sales & Operation Executive Experience 2 to 5 years Share Job Key Purpose Of The Role: The Rural Sales & Operations – Biomass Bank role is responsible for driving farmer engagement, aggregation readiness, field execution, and Soil Nutrition (FOM) sales within the assigned Biomass Bank catchment.
The role focuses on community engagement, onboarding of farmers and partners, harvest planning through ground truthing, daily aggregation scheduling, quality compliance, and execution of FOM sales plans— leveraging both manual field processes and platform-based systems to ensure predictable aggregation, accurate data, and effective rural market penetration. Key Tasks: 1. Community Engagement & Market Development: Community Engagement: Drive community engagement initiatives at the village level.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key influencers, farmers, and local government administration. Promoter Management: Hire, train, and manage promoters for field-level activities. FOM Sales Planning: Prepare half-yearly FOM Sales Plan and BEAT Plan covering villages, individual farmers, potential farmers, key retailers, and hero farmer meetings. 2. Training & Capacity Building: Operator Training: Conduct and coordinate equipment operator training programs.
Equipment Usage: Ensure operators are trained on the correct and safe usage of equipment. OEM Compliance: Reinforce OEM guidelines for equipment operations, including parameters such as baler pressure. 3. Promoter Management & Commercial Processing: Attendance Tracking: Track promoter attendance on a monthly basis. Invoice Processing: Process promoter salary invoices and ensure accurate documentation.
SLA Compliance: Ensure timely submission of invoices as per defined SLA. Payment Coordination: Coordinate with finance teams and vendors for timely payment closure. 4. Onboarding of Ecosystem Partners: Farmer Onboarding: Onboard farmers on the platform. Aggregation Partner Onboarding: Identify and onboard aggregation partners as per operational requirements. Equipment Ecosystem: Onboard tractors and drivers on the platform.
Target Achievement: Ensure onboarding numbers meet operational requirements. Performance Tracking: Track actual onboarding against required onboarding and take corrective actions where required. 5. Harvest Planning & Ground Truthing: Harvest Planning: Mark expected harvest dates through ground truthing of villages. Farm Readiness: Assess farm readiness before the expected harvest period. Farmer Engagement: Engage farmers through promoters to capture accurate harvest dates.
Aggregation Pitch: Pitch aggregation offerings to farmers and aggregation partners. Equipment Compliance: Ensure correct equipment usage in the field as per OEM norms. 6. Daily Aggregation Planning & Execution: Collection Scheduling: Release daily collection schedules to aggregators through the platform. Execution Tracking: Mark farmer-level execution status as Done / Not Done on the platform. Deviation Management: Identify and highlight schedule deviations for incorporation into the next day's plan.
Next-Day Planning: Prepare and communicate next-day aggregation plans. Quality Management: Ensure quality of aggregated material as per defined SOPs. Fuel Monitoring: Monitor fuel consumption against the quantity of material collected. Platform Data Accuracy: Ensure accurate and timely platform updates, including equipment availability status (Active / Inactive). 7. Soil Nutrition (FOM) Sales Execution: Daily Sales Planning: Prepare daily FOM Sales Plan and BEAT Plan.
Sales Execution: Execute FOM sales activities as per the approved plan. Customer Engagement: Engage farmers, potential farmers, and retailers for FOM sales. Payment Collection: Ensure timely collection of FOM payments. Delivery Coordination: Coordinate FOM deliveries to farmers. Performance Tracking: Track Plan vs Actual sales performance and initiate corrective actions where required.
