What you will do
- Work closely with consulting and solutions project leaders to support project-level data analysis needs.
- Execute ETL processes on various customer data sets.
- Perform both standardized and ad hoc reporting and analysis as required.
- Produce data visualizations using software such as Tableau and Microsoft Excel to clearly convey important data insights.
- Consistently refine and improve the tools and processes utilized by yourself and others on the data team
What they are looking for
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal individuals and teams as well as external stakeholders.
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or data science in a professional setting, or formal education in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar).
- Strong with SQL (data modeling, ad hoc querying, query performance).
- Experience working with analytical tools such as Alteryx, dbt, or Microsoft Excel.
Nice to have
- Experience working with, Python, R, or other programming languages.
- Understanding warehouse distribution, logistics, and processes.
- Tableau (publishing curated datasets, dashboard performance basics).
- Hands-on experience working with Databricks.
- Experience in warehouse automation/intralogistics (AMRs, AutoStore, shuttle, sortation, WES/WCS).

About the role
We are hiring a Data Engineer to support consulting engagements and the execution of pre-sales solutions integration data work. You will utilize your skills in applied data analytics and data engineering to turn raw data into actionable insights.
