What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable backend systems and APIs using Elixir and the Phoenix framework.
- Work closely with our product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate product requirements into well-architected, scalable services.
- Take ownership of features from conception to launch, including crafting technical specs, writing clean code, and ensuring a smooth release process.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality, robustness, and reliability. Participate in code reviews to maintain a high-quality code culture.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, and continuously improve application performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.
What they are looking for
- 3+ years of professional software development experience, with a focus on backend development.
- Strong proficiency and professional experience with Elixir and the Phoenix framework.
- Experience with OTP, concurrent and distributed systems, and functional programming principles.
- Proven experience designing and building RESTful APIs (and/or GraphQL) and working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL (Ecto).
- A strong product sense and a passion for building exceptional, reliable, and scalable systems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, agile team environment.

Key Responsibilities
