Mern Stack Developer

We are hiring a MERN Stack Developer on behalf of our client. This is a remote role open to candidates based in Pune . You will build and maintain full-stack web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js. It's a great fit for someone who enjoys working across the frontend and backend, writing clean code, and shipping features that users love.

Role & responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using the MERN stack

Build responsive, high-performance user interfaces with React.js

Develop RESTful APIs and server-side logic using Node.js and Express.js

Design and manage databases using MongoDB (schemas, queries, indexing)

Integrate third-party APIs and services

Implement authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth)

Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code

Debug, test, and optimize applications for speed and scalability

Collaborate with designers, QA, and product teams through online tools

Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)

0 to 2 years of experience in MERN stack or full-stack development (internships and projects count)

Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) , HTML5, and CSS3

Hands-on experience with React.js (Hooks, Redux/Context API)

Good understanding of Node.js and Express.js

Experience with MongoDB and Mongoose

Familiarity with Git/GitHub and version control workflows

Basic understanding of REST APIs and JSON

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Good communication skills and ability to work in a remote team

Self-motivated and able to work independently

Stable internet connection and own laptop
