Quant builds interoperability and programmable payment infrastructure for banks, central banks and financial institutions. Our US delivery team runs mission-critical, distributed-ledger infrastructure for one of the largest payments organizations in the United States. We're hiring the engineers who keep it running, around the clock.
The role
As a Site Reliability Engineer, you'll be on the front line of our production environment during your shift. You'll handle monitoring, alerting and first-line incident response across OP-stack services, a private Hyperledger Besu L1, Paladin nodes, the Overledger Gateway, the Audit Store, the Settlement Bridge and our observability stack. You'll work alongside a Senior SRE on every shift and report to the Platform Reliability Technical Lead. The whole team is US-based, with no offshore handoff anywhere in the incident path.
What you'll do
Monitor platform health, alerts and dashboards across production components, and acknowledge alerts within SLA.
Respond to production incidents during your shift and help resolve them.
Contribute to automation that reduces repetitive operational toil.
Keep accurate shift logs and incident documentation.
Escalate to the Senior SRE with complete diagnostic context.
What you'll bring
3+ years in SRE, DevOps or production engineering.
Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure and observability tooling.
Exposure to blockchain or node operations is an advantage.
Comfort handling incident response under time pressure.
Willingness to work a rotating 24/7 shift schedule.

Compensation and benefits
Base salary: $95,000 – $130,000, depending on experience and skills.

This role is overtime-eligible.
