Provide backup support for VLBI script creation and related projects

Conduct technical reviews of 20-40 GBT observing proposals annually

Offer on-call support to GBT observers to ensure smooth operations

Act as a project 'friend' for external proposals, assisting with observing scripts, data analysis, and occasionally observing on behalf of principal investigators

Ensure compliance with Green Bank Observatory and government safety policies and procedures

Perform other duties as assigned to support observatory operations and research initiatives

Benefits

Competitive hourly wage ranging from $27.44 to $32.33, commensurate with experience and qualifications
