Frequently asked questions

What is a resume score?

A number out of 1000, like a credit score, that says how well your resume reads for one target role at your experience level. It is composed from six sections - summary, target-role fit, experience bullets, projects, certifications and education, and ATS readiness - each scored out of 100 and weighted in code, so the same resume always gets the same score.

Is the resume score an ATS score?

ATS readiness is one of the six sections. It is measured in your text, not guessed: the role's keywords found and missing, the standard headings a parser looks for, the contact block, the length, and how many bullets carry a number. You see each metric, not only the total.

How is the score different for a fresher and an experienced candidate?

A fresher is judged on projects, internships, coursework and the skills section; an experienced candidate on outcomes and scope in their roles. An experienced resume with no projects section is not marked down for it - that weight moves to the experience bullets.

What does 'Fix all in one click' do?

ORI rebuilds the resume from scratch on The Perfect Resume: the right sections in the right order for the role, every bullet written from the facts already in your resume, ATS-friendly and plainly written. Nothing is invented - no certification, no project, no number you did not give us. You then view and edit it there.

Will scanning or fixing replace the resume on my OneRoadmap profile?

No. The scan reads the file you upload and keeps its text only for your score and the rebuild. The rebuilt resume is a new document on The Perfect Resume. Your profile resume stays exactly as it is.

What does it cost?

One credit per scan and five credits for the one-click rebuild. Credits are only taken when a result is delivered: a failed analysis or build costs nothing, and the same resume scored again for the same role within a day is free. New accounts start with free credits.

Which roles can I score against?

Any role: the coached roles on OneRoadmap, the 2,600-plus roles in the catalogue, or a role you type yourself. Coached roles get the role's skill vocabulary and resume blueprint; other roles are scored against the generic blueprint.

Is my resume shared with anyone?

No. The text is read by the model that scores it and stored against your account for the score and the rebuild. It is never listed, never shown to employers, and never used to train anything.
