Role Overview The QA Manager / Sr. Manager ensures consistent production quality by developing, implementing, and enforcing Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Quality Management Systems (QMS). In this role, you will prepare and execute action plans, review customer-service standards, resolve quality issues, initiate audits, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across our internal organization and external manufacturing partners. Key Responsibilities: QMS & Core Quality Operations: Establish, maintain, and continually improve QMS processes while managing routine activities for Quality Assurance and Quality Control. Implement and manage Complaint Management, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA), Risk & Change Control, and Deviation Management frameworks. Compliance & Standards Implementation: Ensure total organizational compliance with ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System) and ISO 22716:2007 (Cosmetic GMP) standards. Documentation & Product Release: Create, approve, and oversee implementation of SOPs, MFRs, BMRs, test methods, specifications, and validation protocols/reports. Perform reviews of product manufacturing records, testing data, and Certificates of Analysis (COA) to verify and release products meeting required specifications. Vendor & Warehouse Audits: Manage, execute, and oversee audits of contract manufacturers and warehouses. Establish KPIs, maintain required documentation, perform relationship management, and drive risk assessments and mitigation plans with business partners. Regulatory, NPD & Product Life Cycle: Support regulatory inspections, respond to compliance queries, and maintain product FDA registrations. Participate in New Product Development (NPD), technology transfer assessments, label artwork reviews, and oversee product stability/shelf-life testing. Management Reviews & Reporting: Conduct Management Review meetings, escalate operational risks, deviations, and Out-of-Specification (OOS) events, and monitor quality objectives to report progress to leadership. Continuous Improvement & Customer Focus: Perform periodic trend analysis on customer complaints and CAPA effectiveness to carry forward lessons learned. Introduce new systems, process improvement projects, and risk-mitigation measures to enhance operational efficiency. Team Leadership & Training: Manage, lead, and staff the QA/QC team. Motivate, coach, and execute training programs to drive operational success. Ideal Candidate Background: Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Quality Management, or a related scientific discipline. Experience: 6–10+ years of core Quality Assurance / Quality Control experience within the Cosmetics, Personal Care, Skincare, FMCG, or Pharmaceutical industries. Technical Mastery: Strong working knowledge of ISO 22716 (Cosmetic GMP), ISO 9001:2015, FDA regulations, and contract manufacturing quality governance.
