What you will do
- Independently own the design, implementation, and operation of significant OCI Build components and features.
- Design scalable and reliable solutions for build execution, orchestration, artifact publishing, and CI/CD workflows.
- Write high-quality production code and drive features from design through deployment and operation.
- Improve system performance, capacity, reliability, observability, and developer experience.
- Build secure solutions around workload isolation, identities, secrets, dependencies, and artifact handling.
What they are looking for
- Strong software engineering and system-design fundamentals.
- Experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems, cloud services, or infrastructure software.
- Ability to independently own complex components and deliver reliable production solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills across software and infrastructure.
- Good engineering judgment around reliability, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and help other engineers grow.
Nice to have
- Experience with CI/CD, build systems, Kubernetes, compute infrastructure, developer platforms, or software supply-chain security is valuable, but experience with every technology is not required.
