Intern, Strategy & Analytics, Transport Team Internship Location Singapore, Singapore Job Type Intern The role at a glance Get to Know the TeamThe Singapore Transport team oversees and grows the Singapore Mobility business (JustGrab, GrabCar, GrabCar Premium etc.). This includes formulating and building on strategy around demand (passengers), supply (driver-partners), pricing and marketplace, while also undertaking product rollouts and special projects.Get to Know the RoleYou will report to the Manager, Fulfilment & Demand. We are looking for an intern possessing strong problem solving and analytical skills to join the team. Projects managed by the team often involve creative analysis using large datasets and deriving insights to create solutions.You will be onsite and based in the One North office.The Critical Tasks You Will PerformYou will use both strategic and analytics toolkits to deliver data-driven business insights and recommendations to act upon (e.g. customer segmentation and strategy, demand / supply strategy, channel strategy)You will perform analysis of marketplace issues (e.g. demand, supply, pricing) to improve for our goals (e.g. revenue / profit growth, service health)You will work in a team to solve business-critical issues through rigorous analysis, big picture thinking with consideration for operational detailYou will collaborate with teams across multiple functionalities including Product, Regional strategy, Partner Operations and marketing to implement strategic projectsYou will run A/B testings to refine and determine best projects to launch. I had interned at other organisations before Grab. However, interning at Grab revealed that I wished to experience exciting, meaningful work and a warm and friendly culture. During my internship, I discovered my liking for backend engineering. After interning for 3 months, I returned to school and applied for a full-time role with the same team.
