What you will do
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through demo, contract signing, and long-term account expansion (~75-80% new business, ~20% existing partnerships)
- Manage 40-50 ongoing live conversations and close ~5-6 deals per month at an average ACV of ~$30K
- Build warm, trust-based relationships with nonprofit leaders (70% of buyers are women) — this is a partnerships role, not a transactional sales role
- Run creative outbound motions including Loom videos, personalized sequences in HubSpot, and strategic prospecting to land whale accounts
- Navigate deal cycles ranging from 3 days to 12 months, with an average of 3-4 months, compressing ahead of peak giving season in Q4
What they are looking for
- 3+ years of quota-carrying sales experience with a track record of hitting targets (5-6 years ideal) — must be comfortable carrying a $1.5M annual quota
- Full-cycle sales experience including outbound prospecting; must be able to spin up sequences in HubSpot and run your own pipeline from scratch
- Comfortable with multi-step deal cycles (3-5+ meetings) selling into complex organizations like universities, hospitals, government, or religious institutions
- Warm, relationship-first communication style — scrappy and creative but not overly aggressive; able to build trust with mission-driven nonprofit buyers
- Based in NYC and able to work in-office Monday through Thursday
